The Lei of Kindness is a special community celebration bringing together local creativity, small businesses, and the spirit of giving back. The event celebrates the collaboration between MINI of Hawaii,  Buddah Mochi and Mandini Made, while honoring the winner of their recent art contest, Kailea from the Big Island. Kailea’s beautiful artwork was selected to be featured on Buddah Mochi’s limited-edition Bebeh bag, with a portion of every winning-design bag purchase donated to the University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu Academy of Creative Media, helping support the next generation of artists and creatives.

 

Buddah Mochi is a beloved local small business known for its fun, colorful mochi-inspired creations and their iconic Bombucha Bags, which have become a community favorite. Their bags are loved for their playful designs, creativity, and unique Hawaiʻi-inspired style. Mandini Made is a local illustrator who creatives are inspired by Hawaiʻi, island life, and the places and memories that make home special.

Every notebook, pencil, folder, crayon, and supply makes a difference. No donation is too small — together, we can help make sure our keiki and teachers have the tools they need to learn, create, and succeed. 🌈📚
